BT HOME HUB 3

i seam to be having trouble setting up port forwarding on my ipad2 with my bthomehub 3 (infinity), its ok via wifi but as soon as i switch my iPad to 3g i can't connect....
there doesn't seam to be any help with the new hub and have tried for hours .....so please any ideas ?
the whole point of installing the app was to be able to connect to my laptop (witch is on wifi) via my iPad without having to take the laptop with me...

apple iphone 4s
apple macbook pro
apple ipad2

if anyone has sussed this then let me know cheers.....
